A Look Ahead at Exciting Things Happening at Our Business Lounge and Other Locations
Happy February! It may be the shortest month of the year, but there are a lot of exciting things happening at TCC Canada this month. Here’s a primer on what you can expect:
Longer BizLounge Hours
You asked, and we provided. Our new Central BizLounge, a co-working space based in downtown Ottawa, will now be open later for your convenience. Starting right away, the business lounge will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., making its services—including Wi-Fi, coffee, printing, and a great place to get work done—more convenient than before.
Lunch & Learns
Whoever said there was no such thing as a free lunch never met us. This month we have two exciting Lunch & Learn sessions lined up, which are free to all of our members and feature delicious catering and great guest speakers.
First, on Wednesday, February 8th, the Central BizLounge will be welcoming Sharat Gupta, CPA, CA. Starting at noon, Mr. Gupta will be discussing Accounting for Business: income tax rates, GST/HST registration requirements, and everything else you need to know for your business. Then on Friday, February 10th, we’ll be welcoming back Ottawa-based commercial lawyer Renate Harrison at our Blackwood Centre in Kanata. After the great response to her first Lunch & Learn on Cross-Border Business between Canada and the US, we’ve invited her back to answer more questions about this more-relevant-than-ever topic.
